Nita Kay Brown October 18, 1950-September 13, 2016 Nita Kay Brown, 65, of Granbury, formerly of Liberty Hill, Texas, went to be with her Savior on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 16th at First Baptist Church in Stephenville with Pastor Ken May officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Nita was born on October 18, 1950 in Raymondville, Texas to Utah Willard and Thelma Katherine Tidwell Dickerson. She married Cisco Brown on January 1, 1987 in Weslaco, Texas. Nita was a homemaker and a member of the Marshall Ford Baptist Church in Austin. Survivors include her husband, Cisco Brown of Granbury; daughter, Ronda and husband Mike Melton of Stephenville; son, Jake and wife Melissa Simmons of Katy; step-son, David and wife Nicole Brown of Denver, Colorado; parents, Utah and Thelma Katherine Dickerson of Weslaco; grandchildren, Colton and wife Megan Melton of Goldthwaite, Hunter Melton of Westhoff, TX, Ashton Melton of Plano, Tristan Melton and Gracelyn Melton both of Stephenville, Hayden, Shelby, Presley and Jordyn Simmons all of Katy; step-grandchildren, Timmy, Sydney, and Phoenix Brown of Denver, CO; step great grandchildren, Seth and Collin Gardner of Goldthwaite; sisters, Andrea Lea and husband David Jalufka of Kenedy, Belinda Turner of Weslaco, and Myra and husband Tim Belcher of Weslaco; brother, Barry and wife Linda Dickerson of Weslaco; 24 nieces and nephews, and 21 great nieces and great nephews
