Yevonne Scott Crews

Yevonne Scott Crews, 80, of Bryan, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Graveside services will be held on August 3rd at 10:00 A.M. at Indian Creek Cemetery officiated by Harold Roan. Visitation will be at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Yevonne was born September 5, 1928 in Morgan Mill, Texas to the late Mary Davis Scott and George Scott. She married Ray Crews on September 27, 1946. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1990. Yevonne was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a published poet. She resided in Stephenville until 1996 when she moved to Bryan, TX. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Crews of College Station; son, Gary Crews of Stephenville; grandchildren, Landon Gregory and wife Shannon, Leisha Miller and husband Christopher, and Da'Nay Gregory of Brazos Valley, Troy Crews and Aaron Crews of Stephenville, and David Crews of Jacksonville; seven great grandchildren, Marina and Mycah Miller, Dakota Gregory, Sarah and Lucas Gregory, Lindsey and Wyatt Crews.
