Winston B (Dub) Taylor, 79, of Stephenville, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2007 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Pugh officiating. Interment will be held at 5:00 pm Wednesday at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm Tuesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Dub was born on October 3, 1927 in Minco, Oklahoma to the late Allen and Opal Barnett Taylor. He was a Veteran of WWII and Korea and retired from the Army Air Corp as a Master Sgt. after 20 years of Service. Dub worked in the oil field industry and was a wholesale car dealer. He was a member of the American Legion and was a Baptist. Dub and Sue were married on November 17, 1983 in Hamilton, Texas. He has resided in Stephenville for the past year after previously living in Odessa. He is survived by his wife, Sue Taylor; son, Bobby Taylor and wife Debbie of Bethany, OK; daughters, Linda Dean and husband Robert of Hinton, OK, Cindy Mentzer of El Reno, OK, Dana Jones and husband Stan of Odessa, Kay Shockley and husband Charlie of Dennison, Patty Fitzgerald and husband Mike of Odessa, Kathy Lucky and husband Mark of Ranger, and Youlonda Lee and husband Jimmy of Odessa; sisters, Fern Mason of Tuttle, OK; Shirley Bean of Artesia, NM; brothers, Jimmy Taylor and wife Geneva of Amarillo, and Johnny Taylor and wife Mariel of Duncan, OK; twenty three grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren.
