Wilson Earl Wilcoxon, 89, of Stephenville, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024 in Fort Worth.

Wilson was born December 3, 1934, in Lingleville, TX, the son of RE & Maxine Wilcoxon.

He graduated from Lingleville High School.

Wilson married Jeanette Fincannon on March 15, 1957, in Desdemona. They had four children: Pam (Wilcoxon) Tate, Mike Wilcoxon, Janie (Wilcoxon) Allen, and Tracy Wilcoxon.

He worked as a Lineman in Odessa and Erath County. He retired in 1999. Wilson was a member of the Oakdale Methodist Church, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and a Shriner.

He Loved his automobiles, tending to his cattle, driving his tractor, working on anything with his hands, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Wilson is survived by wife, Jeanette; daughter, Pam & husband Mike Tate; daughter, Janie Allen; son, Tracy & wife Kay Wilcoxon; and his sister, Linda Wilcoxon. He leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Preceding Wilson in death were his parents, his son, Mike; brother, Gayland; and a son-in-law, Stephen Allen.

Graveside services for Wilson will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 12th at Beth Haven Cemetery near the Highland Community in Erath County, with Gary Williams officiating.  Visitation with the Wilcoxon family will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home.
