William Dwane Watkins

William Dwane Watkins, 88, of Stephenville, passed away Monday, July 12, 2010 in Fort Worth. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Stephenville Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Moulton, IA. William was born on October 17, 1921 in Coatsville, MO, to the late Lawrence and Flora Kelly Watkins. He married Wilma Morrow on August 11, 1942. William was a member of First Christian Church and a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran. He served as a Shriner, and was a member of the American Legion for 65 years. He leaves to mourn his passing, wife, Wilma; daughter, Sandra Andrews and her husband David; two granddaughters, Amy Andrews and Dena Middleton and her husband Jeff; one great-granddaughter, Reese Middleton; brother, Robert Watkins and wife Maureen; brother-in-law, Max and wife Lucille; nephew, Dan Watkins and wife Judy; four nieces, Dianna Kenny and husband Richard, Donna Norman and husband Douglas, Kathy Quintero and husband Jose, Nancy Neadeck and husband Arthur. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kelly Watkins. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church Building Fund, 450 W. Tarleton, Stephenville, TX 76401.
