William "Bill", Harm Lewis Sr.

William ‘Bill' Lewis October 25, 1935-June 18, 2017 William ‘Bill' Lewis, 81 of the Purves Community, died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at his residence. Bill was cremated, and at this time no services have been planned. Stephenville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Bill was born on October 25, 1935 in Hoxie, Kansas to the late Edwin and Maxine Rosencrans Andersen. He married Cecilia Courtney Hester on April 7, 1980 in San Pedro, California. Bill served during Korea in the U. S. Army, a former member of the First Assembly of God, and currently worshipping at Purves Baptist Church. He retired as a toolmaker, dry cleaner, and from the U. S. Military. Bill lived many years in Fort Worth and Palmdale California, and the last 25 years here in Erath County. Survivors include his wife, Lois Lewis; son, Bill Lewis; daughters, Donna Lewis and Debra Tinker; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a brother, Larry Lewis of Colby, Kansas.
