William C. "Bill" Martin

William C. ‘Bill' Martin, 87, of Stephenville, died Wednesday, April 09, 2008, at Harris Methodist Erath County Hospital. Military Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 12, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Bill was born April 1, 1921, in Chalk Mountain, to the late Isham and Allie Lanham Martin. He served during WWII in the U. S. Marine Corps. He was a retired service station owner and operator. He has lived in Stephenville since 1949. He is survived by his wife, Mabel Cross Martin; daughter, Karen Johnson and husband Eddie of Stephenville; grandchildren, John and Amy Pack of Stephenville, Quin Bledsoe of Fort Worth, Brent Bledsoe of Stephenville, and Suanne Walton of Stephenville. He was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Billy and Carol Ann Bledsoe
