Wayne Brown

Wayne Brown, 24, of Stephenville, died Friday, March 9, 2012 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 14th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Cummings and David Locke officiating. Burial will follow at Lingleville East End Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home. Wayne was born on January 14, 1988, in Stephenville. He was a 2006 graduate of Stephenville High School, member of the Baptist Church, and a life long resident of Stephenville. He was a machinist. Survivors include his father, Larry and his wife Debbie Brown of Stephenville; mother Ginger Brown of DeLeon; brothers, Dale Brown and Jani Petry of DeLeon, Jacob Brown and Caleb Brown both of DeLeon; his girlfriend and her daughter, Jessica Cowin and Elayne Bandy of Stephenville; grandparents, Tommy and Valera Brown of Stephenville, Tay (Mamaw) Shepard of Stephenville, Mildred Daughty of DeLeon, Stella Carlton of DeLeon, and Donnie and Judy Bingham of Beattie; uncles, Kenneth James and wife Denise Marie of Hobbs, NM and Earl Stutlz of Burleson; Aunt, Tina Voorhies of Stephenville; nieces, Mykiah Grace Brown, Afton, Tara, and Whitney Cook; and special friends, Laramy Weatherman and Matt Turner. Wayne was preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy Joe and Sammie Metsgar. Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the American Diabetes Assn.
