Wanda Jean Williamson "Nana" Whitefield

Wanda Jean ‘Nana' Williamson Whitefield, 75, of Stephenville passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in Comanche. Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM Friday, April 12th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Stan Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Barbee Cemetery in Erath County. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Wanda was born on January 10, 1938 in Edna Hill to the late J. C. and Maurine King Williamson. She married Lex Wayland Whitefield on April 2, 1956 in Dublin. Wanda worked as an LVN and was a member of the Edna Hill Baptist Church. Wanda is survived by 2 daughters, Toni Nelms and husband Gene of Stephenville, Kelly Whitefield of Stephenville; granddaughters, Brittany Allen and husband Chase of Crawford, OK, Lexi Nelms of Stephenville; 2 sisters, Joyce Wilson and husband Corky of Gustine, Mary Ann Hernandez and husband Tonto of Itasca; and was married to Lex Whitefield of Dublin; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Glenda Mackey.
