Wanda Louise (Walker) Mayes

Wanda was born May 25, 1926 in Chalk Mountain, Texas, to the late B.C. Walker and Bula Carver Walker. Wanda married John Madison Mayes on June 9, 1945, in Fort Worth, Texas. John preceded her in death on September 25, 2014. Wanda was a homemaker.

Wanda is survived by her sons, Ronald Mayes of Tulsa, John Mayes and wife, Pam, of Frisco, daughter, Debra Howard and husband, Bob, of Greenville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Adam, Sean, Lovie, Matt, McKay, Martin, Kimberly, Allison, and Erica.

As well as her parents and her husband, Wanda is also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, her son, Gary Mayes, and her granddaughter, Heather.

Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 pm (Noon) Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the West End Cemetery.
