Wanda Bradford (Lowe) Lord

Wanda (Lowe) Bradford Lord, 88, of Richland Hills, died Thursday, December 01, 2011 in Azle. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Roberson officiating. Burial will follow at Huckabay Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home Wanda was born September 4, 1923 in Huckabay to the late James Carroll and Velma Danner Lowe. She grew up in Huckabay, and attended the Huckabay Church of Christ, and later was a member of the Richland Hills Church of Christ when she moved to Richland Hills in 1947. Wanda was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Jimmy Bradford in 1962 and William J. Lord in 1984. Survivors include her sons, Jimmy and wife Jane Bradford of Huckabay, Leonard, Jr. and wife Linda Bradford; daughter, Pat and husband Mark Averitte of Azle; grandchildren, Jimmy and wife Melissa Averitte of Saginaw, Brad and wife Jodi Averitte of Azle, Justin and wife Jennifer Bradford of Mansfield, Jacob Bradford of Richland Hills; and Leonard S. Bradford; great grandchildren, Abbie, Emma, Nekoda, Lila-Ann, and James Averitte and Cooper Bradford; brothers, Waldo Lowe of Huckabay and Bobby Lowe of Burleson; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Morris and Geraldine Griswold. Family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Dan Echols Senior Citizen Center in North Richland Hills, or the Huckabay or Liberty Cemetery Associations
