Wanda Laverell Jones

Wanda Laverell Jones passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in Fort Worth. The family will receive friends at the Stephenville Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Friday, April 20, 2012. Laverell was born to Dock and Jewell Bowden Lee. She married Russell Benton Jones and he preceded her in death on March 28, 1999. She has resided in Stephenville since 1954 and was a member of the Graham Street Church of Christ. Laverell is survived by son, Lynn Jones and wife Kathy of Wichita, Kansas; daughters, Sheri Creamer of the Austin area, and Vicki Allen of Stephenville; grandchildren, Clay Allen and wife Rhonda, Kim Smith and husband Cory, Greg Gilly and wife Chailleen, Rusty Creamer, Shayla Martinez and husband Matt, Matt Jones, and Brendan Rice; and ten great grandchildren; and a brother, Marlin Lee and wife Sandra of Houston. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
