Walton Bertrang

Walton Dale Bertrang, 61, of DeLeon, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010, in DeLeon. Memorial services are 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Kingdom Hall in Comanche. Walton was born July 11, 1948 in Fort Sheridan, Illinois to Rodney Hoy and Myrtle Eileen Beitz Bertrang. He grew up in a military family living in Japan, Germany and Chicago. Walton married Mary O'Sullivan, February 12, 1966 in Palmwood, Australia. He has spent many years in the love of his life Australia, and the past 14 years in DeLeon, Texas. He was employed in maintenance work. Walton is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Karen and husband Ken Sparks of Granbury, Andrew Bertrang of Gatesville, Bradley and wife Jolene Bertrang of Jacksonville, Florida, Nicole and husband Micah Crowell of Prescott, Arkansas, and Jennifer and husband Jared Dukes of Duster; mother, Myrtle Bertrang of Evant; brothers, Rodney Bertrang of Oakland, CA and Ken Bertrang of Tujunga, CA; grandchildren, Kayli, Alyssa, Apral, Isabelle, Mathilda, Connor, Keenan, Ariana, Gabriela, and Pepper.
