Wade Felix Runyon

Wade Runyon, 51, of Ocean Springs, MS and formerly of Stephenville, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008 in Ocean Springs. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dan Murray officiating. Interment will follow at the West End Cemetery in Stephenville. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 17, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stephenville Funeral Home. Wade was born on August 29, 1957 in Bexar County, Texas to Ernestine Knox Runyon and to the late J.H. Runyon. He graduated from Stephenville High School and Tarleton State University with a degree in Agriculture Education. He always received perfect attendance awards throughout his school career. Wade was active in FFA and grew up helping his dad on the dairy farm. He was also active in sports and loved playing and watching baseball. Wade was a member of the Stephenville First Baptist Church. He has resided in Ocean Springs, Mississippi for the past 14 years after previously living in Stephenville. Wade is survived by his mother, Ernestine Runyon of Stephenville; sister, Dee Ann Weaver and husband Max of Waco; brother Tim Runyon and wife Frances of Stephenville; nieces, Ashley Weaver of Austin, Mallory Runyon and Jayla Runyon of Stephenville; nephew, Luke Runyon of Stephenville; uncle, Elwood Knox of Stephenville. Although we are deeply saddened by Wade's sudden death, we want to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to check their Blood Pressure and get treatment.
