W. E. Billy Pack

W. E. Billy Pack, 91, of Lingleville, died Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oak Dale Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Billy was born on August 18, 1920 in Huckabay to the late Robert E. and Alice Melugin Pack. He married Francis Fuller on March 22, 1952 in Hico. Billy served during WWII in the U. S. Army Air Corps., and was a member of the West Side Church of Christ. He worked 25 years at Higginbothams, and 14 years at Garner's Feed and Supply. Billy was a life long resident of Erath County. He is survived by his wife, Francis; sons, Don Muir, Eddy and wife Mary Pack, Teddy and wife Kathy Pack, and Kenny Pack all of Stephenville; grandchildren, Brian and wife Jennifer Muir, Brittany and husband Louis Ojeda, Babette Jones, Eddy and wife Donna Pack, Jeff and wife Tasha Pack, Brent Pack, Robert and wife Kim Pack, and Amy and husband Jason Girtz; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Otis Barnard of Brownwood; sister-in-law, Thelma Pack of Tolar; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by six brothers, and six sisters.
