Von Del Stewart

Von Del Stewart, 77, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 28, 2011 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Baugh officiating. Interment will follow at the West End Cemetery in Stephenville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Von was born on August 19, 1933 in Stephenville to the late L.C. Stewart, Sr. and Ruth Stewart. He married Lois Faye Roulston on September 19, 1963 in Stephenville and she preceded him in death on May 17, 2008. He served in the U.S. Army. Von has resided all of his life in Stephenville and is a retired mechanic. He was the owner and operator of Stewarts Garage and Auto Parts Store in Stephenville. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Danley and husband Faron of Stephenville; grandchildren, Cody Danley and wife Hannah of Tolar, Kenny Danley of Stephenville, Kalin Danley of Stephenville, and Kelly Danley of Stephenville; brothers, Bob Stewart of Burleson, and L.C. Stewart, Jr. of Stephenville; and sister, Sue Millington and husband Wayne of Tyler. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Lorene Cornett; and a brother, Vern Lee Stewart.
