Von Delle (Madison) Mcmahon

Von Delle McMahon, 91, of Stephenville, died Saturday, January 7, 2017 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church in Stephenville with Bro. Russell White officiating. Interment will follow at the West End Cemetery in Stephenville. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Von was born on July 5, 1925 in Coahoma, Texas to Isaac Duke and Delta Beatrice Madison. She married Joe Lee McMahon on March 29, 1943 in Pecos, Texas. After raising a family in the Pecos area, Von and Joe moved to Stephenville in 1981. Some of her happiest days were those spent working in the concession stands at the City Park in Stephenville. She watched many kids grow from their days of T-Ball through Little League. However, first place on her list of happy days are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Even as her health continued to decline, she attended as many of their events as possible. Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Joseph L. McMahon, Sr., of Stephenville; daughter, Linda Partain, and husband Roger McClesky, of Stephenville; grandchildren, Monte McMahon, and wife, Lorie, of Coleman, Miste Kennedy, and husband, Brandon, of Bridgeport, Greg Lundgren, and wife, Stacey, of Greenwood, and Cydni Morton, and husband, David, of Stephenville; great-grandchildren, Zane, Nathan, and Daniel McMahon, Madison and Brooks Lundgren, and Jayci, Brady, and Case Morton; and sisters, Mavis Hart, of Spring, and Jo Wilkerson, of Pecos. Von was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Flora, and brothers, Lindy, Darrell and Dean, and son, Joseph Lee "Joey" McMahon, Jr.
