Virginia A Baker, 83, passed away on January 9, 2022 in Richland Hills, Texas.

Virginia was born on June 17, 1938 in Matador, Texas to the late Samuel Thomas Carver and Eunice Marie Norris Carver. She retired from working at Tarleton State University and worked for the Masonic Home of Arlington, Texas for 29 years. She was a member of the Cowboy Church of Erath County.

Virginia is survived by her children, James Leonard Henicke and wife Callie of Florida, Ronny Joe Henicke and wife Jennie of Hurst, Texas, Elizabeth Ann Layton of Granbury, Texas, and Glenn Ray Henicke and wife Cindy of Arlington, Texas; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Eunice Carver, and two great-grandchildren, Josalyn Layton and Cooper Allen.
