Viola Noel Hooker

Viola Noel Hooker, 97, of Stephenville, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013, in Stephenville. Services for Viola will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Hannah officiating. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Viola was born on June 18, 1915 to the late William Jehue Noel and Molly McAurther Noel in Eastland County. She married Thomas E. Hooker on March 8, 1941 in Brownwood. He preceded her in death on December 29, 1996. Viola was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church and had lived in Stephenville most of her life. Viola is survived by a son, Eddy Gregg Hooker & family of Waco, TX; grandsons, Clinton Greg Hooker Sr. of San Ramon, CA, Bryan Paul Townsend of Midland, TX; great grandson Clinton Greg Hooker Jr. of San Ramon, CA; special nephew, Jay Noel of La Porte, TX.
