Vinita Carole (Miller) Dendy

Vinita Carole Dendy 1937~2017 Vinita (Snoopy) Carole Dendy, 80, of Dublin, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017. Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Upper Greens Creek Cemetery in Erath County. Visitation will be held Friday, September 22, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Stephenville Funeral Home. Vinita was born on July 14, 1937 to the late Roy Miller and Cortez Mann Miller in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She met John W. Dendy while working as a dispatcher for Central Freight and the two were married on August 14, 1965 in Houston, Texas. John preceded her in death March 4, 2016 after 50 years of marriage. Vinita also worked as a rural letter carrier and had a deep love working on their ranch beside John, a love for antiques, flea markets and estate sales for many years. Vinita is survived by her children Kathy Wiley and husband Bill of Granbury and Kirby Dendy and wife Donna of China Spring; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and her precious babies, Molly, Missy, and LT.
