Verlyn Warnock Jaresh

Verlyn Lou Warnock Jaresh was born January 18, 1928 in Bluff Dale, Texas. She died Thursday, October 07, 2010 in a Fort Worth Hospital. Services will be held at 3:00 Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the Bluff Dale Methodist Church, burial will follow at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Bluff Dale. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Saturday at Stephenville Funeral Home. In 1947 her father asked for her to help at home, and she has been helping at home and in the community everyday since. December 30, 1965 Verlyn married Bill Jaresh and had two children. She worked at and eventually owned J.F. Warnock Hardware in Bluff Dale for 62 years, loving every minute of it. She worked there 6 days a week, even the day before her emergency surgery. Verlyn loved her Lord and family She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Read and Maude Landers Warnock; and sister, Dorothy Alexander. Survivors include her son, John Read Jaresh of Godley; daughter, Mary and husband Todd Grantham of Bluff Dale. The rest of her family include, Bob Greenwood; Bud and Lori Moore; Larry Hutchinson (her little brother); Bill and Sheila Finley; Sam Gaddy; Lee Gaddy Dunson; Kelly Barbee; Gail Johnson; Morris Tackett and all of the Tackett Family; Ricky Morris and the Morris families; Karen Helwig; Bob Rhoades; Kenny Fred Stafford; Carolyn and Lew Click; Tommy Houston; Steve Taylor; John Allen; Cathey Hartmann; Randy and David Jaquess and families; the Bill Frizzell family; Jimmy Walker; the Dove family; Doug Eberhart; Jackie Walton; the Gentry clan; Rusty Rhoades family; Greg and Phyllis Thompson; the Watson families;... for additional family, see the Erath and Hood county phone directories.
