Uel F. Pearcy, Jr. November 1, 1929-January 24, 2016 Uel F. Pearcy, Jr., 86, of Bluff Dale, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 in Granbury. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel in Erath County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Funeral Home. Uel was born on November 1, 1929 in Bluff Dale to the late Uel F. Pearcy, Sr., and Lola Edyth Hancock Pearcy. He served his country in the U.S. Army serving as an MP and was also a member of the All Army Football and Boxing teams. He met and married the love of his life, Ann and together they raised four children. Uel lived most of his life in Erath County and has also resided in Graham. He was always a Cowboy at heart and retired after managing a ranch for many years. Survivors include his wife, Ann of the home; sons, Mike Pearcy and wife Kay of Cleburne, and Rick Pearcy and wife Shelly of Mineral Wells; daughters, Sheryl Ranne and husband Mackey of Brady, and Donna Garrett and husband Raymond of Graham; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces, and loving family and friends.
