Tony Echeverria

Tony Echeverria, 59, of Dublin, died Thursday, August 14, 2014 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 20th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Following funeral services, Tony's body will be cremated. Visitation will be held 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Tony was born on September 4, 1954 in Faben, Texas, to the late Julio Alberto and Mary Lou Vella Echeverria. He married Belinda Henry, on August 15, 1988 in Dublin. Tony was a tree trimmer, and had lived the past 28 years in Erath County. Tony is survived by his wife, Belinda; two sons, James Nathan Secrest, Jr. of Dublin, and Carlitos Echeverria of California; god-daughter, Jackie Tinklenberg of Minnesota; brothers, Julio Echeverria of Huntington Park, CA, Lorenzo Echeverria of San Bernadino, CA; Fernando Moran of Azusa, CA, and Alfredo Moran of Portland, OR; sisters, Rosa Echeverria of Los Angeles, CA, Mary Ann Echeverria of Covina, CA, Marie Moran of Los Angeles, CA, Teresa Carrasco of West Covina, CA, and Lupe Moran Carrasco of Covina, CA; and step-father, Fernando Moran of West Covina, CA. Tony was preceded in death by a brother, Jessie Echeverria. The Echeverria family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the SPCA or to a humane society of the donor's choice.
