Tommy De La Torre July 16, 1979 ~ December 30, 2017 Tommy Ray De La Torre, 38, passed away at 1:55 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at St Mary's Catholic Church in Dublin, Texas. Interment will follow at De Leon Cemetery after Mass. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, January 4, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary service following at Stephenville Funeral Home in Stephenville, Texas. Tommy was born in De Leon, Texas, and was a De Leon High School graduate. He resided in Stephenville, Texas most of his adult life. Tommy always had a smile for every person he met and he will forever be missed. Tommy is survived by his Mother, Dora Grisham of Stephenville, Texas and Helen De La Torre of De Leon, Texas. He leaves his daughter, Lori Ann Brownlee of De Leon, Texas. He had three brothers, Albert Gonzales of Stephenville, Texas, Johnny De La Torre of De Leon, Texas, and Ernest Gonzales of De Leon, Texas. He also had three sisters, Barbara Powell, Sandra Gonzales of Stephenville, Texas, and Michelle Gomez of De Leon, Texas. He had several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Afton Cooke, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Gomez.
