Tobiah 'Toby' James O'Neal

It is with profound sadness we share that Tobiah “Toby” James O’Neal sadly left our world January 24,2025, at the young age of 43.

Toby showed unwavering friendship and faith while pouring everything he had into raising his children and supporting his friends and family. He has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Toby was born on October 11, 1981 to Lisa Basham and Talley O’Neal. He attended high school at Stephenville, graduating class of 2000. As a high school athlete, Toby was on the back-to-back state championship football team in 1998 and 1999. Toby resided in Stephenville where he went on to own a successful business, TXP Construction and Remodeling.

Toby’s hobbies included practical jokes, music of any kind, singing with his children and friends, and overall making sure everyone was having a good time wherever he was.

Toby is survived by his parents Talley and Melodee O’Neal, Lisa and Thomas Glynn; His Love Mandy McGee: Children: Jackson, Taelor and Callie O’Neal and Rilee McGee; Siblings: Bonnie O’Neal and husband Marc, Kate Conrad and husband Chris and Sophie Glynn. As well as numerous family members and close friends that he called family, all of which will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

We invite all who cherished Toby to join us in a Celebration of Life at Lingleville Baptist Church on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 1:00 P.M., where we will share stories, laughter and tears, in true Toby fashion.

In lieu of flowers, the O’Neal family wish for donations to be made to a Memorial Fund set up for Toby’s Children. Donations can be made through Venmo @Tobymemorialfund or directly at Citizens National Bank in Stephenville.
