Thomas A. "Chip" Lee December 24, 1945-May 5, 2017 Thomas A. "Chip" Lee, 71, of Stephenville, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M Sunday, May 7th at the First Baptist Church in Stephenville with Dr. Ken May officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in DeLeon. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M Saturday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Chip was born on December 24, 1945 to the late Thomas A. and Lela Clements Lee in Gorman. He married Barbara Jo Vannatta on June 18, 1966 in DeLeon, where he grew up before moving to Stephenville in 1973. He attended Texas A&M University where he earned his B.S, M.S, and Ph.D. Thomas worked in the Texas A&M System as a plant pathologist for over 30 years and was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Stephenville. Chip is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara; sons, Chad and wife Amy Lee of Fort Worth, and Clay Lee of College Station.
