Theron H. Wilson

Theron H. Wilson, 91, of Stephenville, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2015 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 7th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Ed Dittfurth officiating. Burial will follow at Downing Cemetery near DeLeon. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Theron was born on April 21, 1924 in Comanche to the late Clifford and Herma Brinson Wilson. He married Mary Kathryn Underhill on December 25, 1949 in Weatherford. Theron served his country during WWII in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church, and had lived most of his life in Erath County. Theron was a telephone installer. Survivors include his wife, Mary; daughter, Cathy Echols of Stephenville; grandson, Michael Wilson and wife Alecia Echols of Stephenville; granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn and husband Brian Lesley of Stephenville; great granddaughters, Audrey Lynn Echols and Emily Lynn Lesley; a host of cousins and many many friends. Besides his parents, Theron was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Arley Echols.
