Thelma Chandler Wilson, 93, of Stephenville, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 18th at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Riley and Rev. Steve Hogard officiating. Burial will follow at Bishop Cemetery in Erath County. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Thelma was born September 8, 1915 in Parker County to the late Joseph Stanley and Nora Trotter Chandler. She married J. W. ‘Squeak' Wilson, December 27, 1933 in Eastland. He preceded her in death June 30, 1971. Thelma was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and a homemaker. She lived in San Saba from 1965 until 1997, and worked in San Saba as a health care giver at Eventide Nursing Home. Thelma and her husband also owned and operated a ranch in Erath County over twenty years. She moved back to Stephenville twelve years ago. Survivors include her children, Joan Revelle of Huntsville, Nick L. and wife Georgan Wilson of Lipan, Bob H. and wife Maxine Wilson also of Lipan; grandchildren, Wilson and wife Darla Revelle of Metairie, LA, Jennifer and husband Terry Butler of Keller, Kim and husband Reggie Pate of Atlanta, GA, Sheri and husband Pat Martin of Graham, Amy and husband Robert Clemons of Houma, LA, Mark and wife Leah Wilson of Lipan, and Carole and husband Tony Viotta of Stephenville; and 17 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca; son-in-law, David Revelle; 4 brothers; and 4 sisters.
