Thelma Hopkins (Stagner) Richey

Hico, Texas Thelma Richey Hopkins Jan. 23, 1932-Jan. 21, 2016 Thelma Richey Hopkins, 83, died January 21, 2016 in Temple. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Park Dale cemetery in Arlington. Thelma was born on January 23, 1932 to the late Uel and Elvie George Stagner in Erath County. Thelma was a member of Hico Church of Christ and had resided in Erath County most of her life. She spent the past eight years of her life in Hico. She was a member of the Stephenville Senior dinner club, and also taught Sunday school and vacation bible School. Thelma worked as an assistant manager at Tom-Tom's day care for many years. She enjoyed sewing and painting. Thelma was a homemaker She is survived by a daughter, Vicky Dodge and husband James of Stephenville; grandchildren, Jennifer Farley and husband Geoff, Stacie Marsden and husband James, Desiree Lawing, Courtney Dodge and fiancé Adam Clayton; brother, Edward Lee Stagner of Burleson; sister, Marjorie Brown of Hico; step-daughter Sherrie Diggs; 11 great-grandchildren and many friends, nieces and nephews
