Thelma Alice Pack

Thelma Pack, 95, of Tolar, died Monday, May 11, 2015 in Granbury. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 14th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Hannah officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Dale Cemetery, Erath County. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Thelma was born on December 26, 1919 in Erath County to the late Benjamin and Lilly Mae Hunter Mayhar. She married J.C. Pack on October 6, 1934 in Stephenville. J.C. preceded her in death on September 10, 1979. Thelma was a homemaker, a member of Tolar Baptist Church, and a longtime resident of Hood County. Thelma is survived by her children and their spouses, David and Jan Pack, Faye Shipp, Barbara and Bobby Perkins, Jo Ann and Roy Chandler, Pat and Bill Gray, Deanna Reid, Larry and Janet Pack, Lonnie and Lou Pack, Peggy and Jerry Fron, Brenda and David England; thirty-one grandchildren; sixty-seven great-grandchildren; nineteen great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Cleatha Yeates; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and loving husband of 45 years, Thelma was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lynn Pack; son, James C. Pack; and grandson, Benjamin Moody.
