Terry Don Mccoy

Stephenville. Terry Don McCoy, 67 died Friday, July 24, 2009 at a local hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, at Valley Grove Baptist Church in Stephenville with Rev. Dale Cartwright officiating. Burial will follow at Duffau Cemetery in Erath County. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday at Stephenville Funeral Home Terry Don was born in Stephenville on December 30, 1941. He married Barbara Mefford on February 15, 1964, in Stephenville. Terry worked in law enforcement for twenty years, and in banking for forty years. He was a lifelong resident of Stephenville and was a Baptist. He is survived by his wife Barbara McCoy of Stephenville; son, John McCoy and wife Dana of Waco; daughter, Millie Smith and husband Don of Fort Worth.; one brother Johnny McKnight of Odessa; grandchildren, Meghan McCoy; Jay McCoy; Taylor Smith; Daniel Smith, and Shane Smith. He was preceded in death by three step-sisters Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
