Terrence Louis Thomas September 18, 1938-February 9, 2017 Stephenville - Terrence Louie Thomas, 78, passed from this life to his heavenly home on February 9, 2017. Visitation will be held Mon, Feb. 13, from 6-8 p.m. at Stephenville Funeral Home. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 58 wonderful years, Rita Myers Thomas. He also leaves behind four children: (daughter) Terri Cay & Paul Andow of Stephenville, (son) Kevin & Melanie Thomas of El Paso, (son) Lorne & Christine Thomas of Denton, and (son) Troy & Michelle Thomas of Odessa. His legacy of love includes 14 precious grandchildren and a dedicated canine companion, Tino. Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, (September 18, 1938), to Louie Morgan and Nancy Grace Thomas, Terry enjoyed a successful 40-year career with the El Paso Natural Gas Company and retired in 1994 as a director. Upon retirement, he and his wife spent time in their cabin in Timberon, New Mexico. With a life-long appreciation for the great outdoors, Terry enjoyed camping, hiking, and fishing. He was an avid gun and knife collector and pursued hobbies such as refinishing antique lanterns. He and Rita relocated to Stephenville, TX in 2000 where they created many happy memories with their kids and grandkids. Terry's strong faith in the Lord deepened through the years and helped him lead his family with grace, dignity, and strength.
