Terrell T. Fair, 96, of Stephenville, a loving and devoted husband and brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 23, 2010 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 25, 2010 at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Weldon Branham officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8 PM, Sunday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Terrell was born December 10, 1913 in Erath County, son of the late Lula Bays and Burt Fair. He married Ima Lee Eddleman, April 23, 1938 in Erath County. They ranched and farmed in Erath and surrounding counties for many years, working side by side. They won awards for ranching and farming, and in 1980 they received the Farmer of the Year Conservation Award. When you visited in their home they always had something from the garden to share with you. T. T. was extremely proud of his longevity, and one had to be in his presence only a few minutes until they knew his age, and how long he had been married. He lived his life in a way that made a lasting impact on the lives of others. He certainly left a legacy of hard work. He was a Baptist. Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife of 72 years, Ima Lee; a brother-in-law, Miles Eddleman; nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two brothers, one sister-in-law, and two nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to everyone who came by to see him and pray with him, and to Dr. Boucher and the staff at Community Nursing and Rehab Center and Universal Hospice.
