Ted Gonzalez. 40, of Stephenville, Texas passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, February 22, 2010 at St. Brendan's Catholic Church with Father Phil McNamara officiating. Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Erath County. Rosary will be Sunday 6:00 pm at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Ted was born January 4, 1970 in Blackfoot, Idaho to the late Juan Gonzalez and Eusebia Gonzalez. He married Antonia Romo on August 3, 2002 in Stephenville. He graduated from Westbrook, TX Ted was a member of St. Brendan's Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of South Point Volunteer Fire Department.. Ted also was a volunteer coach for the Stephenville Soccer Association. He loved being a security guard at local spanish dances. Ted is survived by his wife, Antonia Gonzalez of Stephenville; children, Lisette; Angelina; T.J. and Juan Antonio Gonzalez all of Stephenville. Mother, Eusebia Gonzalez of Stephenville; brother, Domingo Gonzalez and wife Diana; sisters, Elizabeth and Ron Tanamachi of Edinburg, TX; Elvira Martinez of Indiana, Indianapolis; Janie Martinez of Stephenville; Becky and Richard Garcia of Brownwood; Carolina and Omar Meza of Stephenville; in-laws Mr. and Mrs Antonio Romo; Juanita Romo of Miles, TX; brother-in-law, Paul and wife Brenda Garza of San Angelo; sisters-in-law, Erica Garza and Stephanie Garza of Miles, TX. and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Juan Gonzalez in 2002. In lieu of flowers, members of South Point Volunteer Fire/Rescue and First Responders have set up an account for the family at Texas Bank. Donations will greatly be appreciated on behalf of Antonia Gonzalez.
