Tana Sue Weems Nuckols, 63, of Stephenville, passed away suddenly in her home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 16, 2020.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 20, 2020 at the West End cemetery in Stephenville with Jim Andrews officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Tana was born on July 31, 1956 in Eastland to the late David and Margie Seay Weems. She was raised in Eastland and graduated from Eastland High School. She married RIchard Nuckols in 1979 in Eastland. After graduation, she attended Tarleton State University, graduating with a Bachelors Degree and becoming a school teacher doing what she loved in life.She taught school for many years in Stephenville and DeLeon before her retirement. She also worked at Little Rattler Day Care in Tolar teaching early childhood education. Tana loved working with children and will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Nuckols of Stephenville; sons, Michael Weems and wife Stephanie of Stephenville, and David Weems and wife Chrissy of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Brianna Weems of Stephenville, James Weems and Marissa Weems of Las Vegas; she is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.
