Sylvia (Trevino) Berna

Sylvia Berna January 11, 1962 - July 2, 2018 Sylvia Berna, 56, of Stephenville died Monday, July 2, 2018 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 5th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Don Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Hico Cemetery in Hico. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM Thursday prior to services. Sylvia was born on January 11, 1962 in Rotan, Texas to the late Joe A. and Ruth Garza Trevino. She married Calvin Berna on June 7, 1997 in Stephenville. Sylvia worked several years at WalMart, and was a member of the Graham Street Church of Christ. She has lived several years in Stephenville. Survivors include her husband, Calvin; siblings, Mary and husband Robert Martinez, Alfonso and wife Cookie Trevino; Joe Trevino, Jr. and wife Julie; Robert Trevino, Ray and wife Sue Trevino, Sally and husband Ralpheal Sandoval, Oscar and wife Sylvia Trevino, and Rosie Trevino; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Sylvia was also preceded in death by brother and sister-in-law, Roy and JoAnne Trevino, brother, Fernando Trevino, and brother, Roger Trevino. The Berna family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to St. Jude's Children's hospital, or the Erath County Humane Society.
