Sue Loraine (Forson) Mccleery

Sue Loraine McCleery September 9, 1946 ~ May 23, 2017 Sue McCleery, 70, of Stephenville, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in Stephenville. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home with burial to follow at Chalk Mountain Cemetery. The family will host a visitation at 11:00 AM on Thursday. Sue was born September 9, 1946 in Brownwood to the late Rance and Dorothy Gee Forson. She grew up in Dublin and was a lifelong resident of Erath County. Sue married Scotty J. McCleery on December 29, 1964 in Brownwood and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2013. She was a homemaker, bookkeeper, and a member of Green's Creek Baptist Church. Sue is survived by her sons, Ben McCleery and wife Kris of Stephenville, and Cody McCleery and wife Leslie of Poolville; grandchildren, Jordan, Morgan, Casey, and Roy McCleery; brother-in-law, Kim McCleery of Stephenville; half-sisters, Joann, and Suonna; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
