Steve Anthony Morgan, 71, a longtime resident of Uvalde, Texas, passed away January 16, 2024, at his
home in Uvalde. He was born February 16, 1952, in Hico, Texas, to Annie Mae McCann and A.M. Morgan.
When Steve was three, Donald Tudor and Annie Mae were married and although Steve was not his birth
child, Donald Wayne considered and called Steve his child.
Steve graduated from Uvalde High School in 1972, and worked various jobs from automobile body work,
a mechanic at White's Mines, mowed lawns, and in his later years, devoted his time to caring for his
parents. He enjoyed watching shows like Andy Griffith, Gunsmoke and game shows on T.V. Most mornings were spent waiting for the mailman so he could hand him a Dr. Pepper. His character speaks of faithfulness, loyalty, devotion, and love for his parents.
Survivors are Anita Spurgeon Nee Tudor and husband Cary of Joshua, Texas; sister-in-law Tina Tudor of
Pasadena, Texas; nieces Patricia McIntosh Nee Spurgeon and husband Justin, of Burleson, Texas and
Kimberly Geraci of Florida; nephews Cody Spurgeon and wife, Pamela of Greenbackville, Virginia, Donald Raymond Tudor, Jr. (D.J.) of Channelview, Texas, Christopher Tudor of Pasadena, Texas; uncles Roy Joe McCann and wife Nellie, and Joe Gilbreath all of Stephenville, Texas and Danny McCann; and several cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Leonard Ross Tudor and Donald Raymond Tudor.
