Shirley Jean Mcpherson

Shirley Jean McPherson, 74, of Stephenville passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Fort Worth. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Sturdivant Cemetery in Mineral Wells. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Shirley was born June 28, 1937 in Mineral Wells, Texas to the late Samuel and Sue Vaughn Hughes. She has resided most of her life in Stephenville working as a Beautician, and a Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counselor, as well as an entrepreneur, owning an answering service. She was a Baptist. Shirley is survived by a daughter, Sammie Vaughn and husband Benny of Stephenville; son, Steven McPherson of Stephenville; grandchildren, Karen Vaughn of Arlington, Kristi McKinney and husband Jason of Stephenville, Keisha Vaughn and fiancé Seth Haney of Stephenville and their 1st expected child, Avery, Kolbie Vaughn of Stephenville, Kameron Vaughn of Stephenville, Shae McPherson of Stephenville, Marlin McPherson of Sulpher Springs, Nathan Powers and wife Brandy of Stephenville, Stephanie Powers of Stephenville; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Traygen, Tucker, Reagan and Kambria; many nieces and nephews; special family, Peggy Sparks of Stephenville, Sandra Evans of Stephenville, Maranda Loughmiller and husband David and their daughter Hannah of Tyler, Donna Herrington and husband Bill of Weatherford; and her beloved dog, Samantha.
