Shirley Ann (Smith) Knipe

Shirley Ann Knipe, 81, of Stephenville, died Saturday, September 4, 2021 in Stephenville.

Memorial services for Shirley will be at 1:30 PM Saturday, September 11th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Werth Mayes officiating.

Shirley was born on June 5, 1940, in Stephenville, to the late Ervin and Juanita Packwood Smith.  She married Charles Lee Knipe on June 18, 1988.  Shirley was a homemaker, she loved to decorate her home, and loved to be with her family.  She enjoyed shopping, dancing, doing word games, and loved working in her yard.  Shirley was a member of the Cowboy Church of Erath County, and lived most of her life in Stephenville

Survivors include her husband, Charles; sons, Darrell and wife Kathy Arms of Proctor, Brian and wife Ashley Arms of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Samantha and husband Rex Bolling of Stephenville; grandchildren, Jeremy, Daniel, Vanessa, Elizabeth, Griffen, Kyle, Kayla, and Kevin; and fourteen great grandchildren; brothers, Doyle Smith, Gene Smith, and Donnie Smith; sisters, Betty Walters, Margaret Sanders, and Debbie Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and many cousins, and many many friends.

Besides her parents, Shirley was also preceded in death by a sister Nancy Turney.

The Knipe family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Cowboy Church of Erath County.
