Sharon Lee Whitefield

Sharon Lee Whitefield, 63, of Lingleville, died Sunday, October 21, 2012 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 25th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lingleville West End Cemetery. Visitation will be at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Sharon was born on September 3, 1949 in Stephenville to the late Abner and Thelma Robertson Lee. She married Jerry Don Whitefield on February 25, 1977 in Lingleville. He preceded her in death on February 24, 2005. Sharon was a member of the Stephenville Elks, where she was currently serving as president. She was a Baptist, and had lived most of her life in Erath County. She was employed with the Stephenville ISD as a cafeteria employee at Gilbert Intermediate. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Crystal Whitefield and Larry Stanford of Lingleville; son, Christopher Whitefield of Lingleville; brothers, Royce Lee of Victoria and Rayford Lee of Gainesville; brother-in-law, Lex Whitefield of Dublin; and several nieces and nephews
