Scott Lee Howell, 60, loving husband, father, son, brother and friend, went to be with the Lord Friday, November 2, 2018 in Stephenville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Stephenville Funeral Home. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. The family will host a visitation from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 6, at Stephenville Funeral Home.
Scott was born November 8, 1957 in Stephenville to Latham Lee Howell and Thelma Fay Howell. He graduated from Stephenville High School and attended Tarleton State University. Scott worked for Appleton Electric for 32 years. His greatest joy in life was playing sports with his children. He married Maricela Vargas on June 30, 2000. Scott and Maricela were married for 18 years.
Scott is survived by his wife, Maricela Howell; daughter, Jessica Lee Howell; son Tyler Lee Howell; mother, Fay Howell; sister, Andrea Lee Howell; and many family and friends that will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Latham Lee Howell.
Memorials may be made to Cook Children's Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
