Santos Campos

Santos Campos, 85, of Stephenville passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 in Stephenville. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Philip McNamara and Father Jorge Raygoza officiating. Burial will follow at Hannibal Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Santos was born on November 1, 1927 to the late Santos and Maria Guizar Campos in Cieneguilla, Aguascalientes, Mexico. He married Maria Cruz on July 25, 1948 in Ceneguilla. He worked as ranch foreman and in construction. Santos was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Santos is survived by his wife, Maria of Stephenville; 4 daughters, Teresa and husband Pedro Sanchez of Stephenville, Raquel and husband Dennis Fulfer of Huckabay, Emma and husband Julio Jimenez of Stephenville and Eva Perry of Stephenville; 3 sons, Gary Campos of Stephenville, Celso Campos of Stephenville, Alfonso Campos and wife Connie of Maxwell; 2 brothers, Carmen Campos, Pedro Campos; sister Margarita Ponce; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son Rafael Campos. Memorials in lieu of flowers can be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
