Ruth Maxine Thurman

Ruth Maxine Thurman, 77, of Stephenville died November 26, 2010 at a local nursing home. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Loyd Thurman officiating. Burial will follow at the East Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the Stephenville Funeral Home. Ruth was born on January 4, 1933 in Buckeye, AZ., to the late Bishop and Barbara Kersey Scott. She was a lifelong resident of Erath County, and was a Baptist. She worked as a custodian at the Jr. High School. Ruth is survived by a daughter, Debra Dominguez and husband Armando of Granbury; son, Jimmy Thurman and wife Barbara Thurman of Stephenville; granddaughters, Jennifer Thurman of Stephenville; Christy Bosch of Springtown; Misty Simpson of Bedford and seven great-grandchildren.
