Ruby Doris Brewton

Ruby Doris Brewton August 11, 1930-October 10, 2016 Ruby Doris Brewton, 86, of Stephenville, died Monday, October 10, 2016 in Stephenville. Doris was born August 11, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Robert Lee and Ruby Nowell Brewton. She was a member of the Lutheran faith, and had lived in Stephenville since 1993. Doris was a member of the Chicago Cubs Die-Hard Cub fan club since 1952, and was a very fun loving individual. Her sister, Janice Rogers said it was a privilege to have her sister, Doris, live with her since 1990. Doris is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Jim Rogers of Stephenville; cousins, Shirley Gerbrach of Ohio, and Allen Boyle of Palm Springs, California. Doris's desire was to be cremated, and no services are planned at this time. The Brewton/Rogers family wishes expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
