Roy D Coppedge

Roy D. Coppedge, 75, of Stephenville passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 in Stephenville. Graveside services will be Wednesday October 31, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Morgan Mill Cemetery with Victor Mills officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home. Roy was born on January 8, 1937 to the late Jim and Jesse (Bolton) Coppedge in Dublin, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Safeway after 29 years of service. He lived in Erath county most of his life. Roy is survived by daughters, LaJuana and husband Victor Mills of Aubrey, Debbie Stone of Stephenville, and Angela Millsap of Montana; seven grandchildren, Tawni, Barbie, Shanda, Shelby, Auerie, Marie, and October; seven great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Grady, Conner, Austin, Jayc, Elena, and Grayson; a brother, James Coppedge of Sinton; two sisters, Faye Busby of Hico, Yvonne and husband Billy Williams of Morgan Mill and eleven nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his ex-wife Vivian Burnell Herod; and by a brother, Jeane Coppedge.
