Rosemary Jones Chambers, 83 of Paradise, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 in Decatur. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Sunday at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Rosemary was born on June 18, 1928 in Mercury, Texas to the late John Hubert and Vida Mae Ferguson Jones. She married Carl Chambers, in December of 1946 in Stephenville. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2009. Rosemary was a member of the Paradise First Baptist Church, served two terms as Worthy Matron of the Boyd Chapter of the Eastern Star, and was employed as a department store clerk, graphite plant worker, and a worker in food services. She has lived in Stephenville and Arlington, and the last 46 years in Paradise. Survivors include her two sons, Rodney Carl and wife Linda Jo Chambers, and James Donald and wife Bonnie Lynn Chambers; grandchildren, Kristina Dawn and husband Chuck Rhoades, James Brandon Chambers and Veronica Rheyes, and Amber Rose Chambers; great grandchildren, Jayson Richard, Zoe Elizabeth, Julian, Luis, Savannah, and Brianna; sisters, Johnnie Marie (Jones) Chancellor, Clara Joyce (Jones) Baker, and Gladys Jo (Jones) Keith. Rosemary was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Dean Chambers; and a daughter, Lela Rose Chambers.
