Rosamond Cantrell

Rosamond Cantrell, 92, of Morgan Mill, passed away Thursday, January 06, 2011 in Stephenville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Laraine Waughtal and Kenneth Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Bluff Dale. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Rosamond was born March 17, 1918 in Mills County to the late Samuel and Ruth Sellers Drennan. She married Hoyte Cantrell on October 2, 1941 in Fort Worth and they have resided in Erath County since 1941. Rosamond attended John Tarleton College and was a Teacher and a Homemaker. She was a member of the Morgan Mill Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Hoyte Cantrell; daughter, Ann Andrews and husband Bob of Morgan Mill; son, Tommy Cantrell and wife Karen of Morgan Mill; grandchildren, Steve Andrews, Alex Cantrell, Peyton Arnold and husband Darron, and Chris Keating; great-grandchildren, Shalee Andrews, Courtney Andrews, Madyson Cantrell, Braxton Cantrell, and Kaitlyn Arnold. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, and a sister. Memorials may be made to the Universal Health Hospice 1523 W. Lingleville Rd. Suite C Stephenville, Texas, 76401.
