Ronald Byrle Bobo

March 14, 1944 — February 9, 2021

Ronald Byrle Bobo, 76, of Arlington, TX, passed away on Tuesday February 9, 2021 in Mansfield, TX at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center with his family by his side.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 28th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at East Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation with the Bobo family will begin at 1:00 PM, one hour prior to services.

Ron was born on March 14, 1944, in Stephenville to the late Thomas Byrle and Alta Pauline Davis Bobo.  He married Joy Ann Cooper on April 3rd, 1965.  Ron was a landscape draftsman and was a licensed irrigation designer for 42 years at Schrickel Rollins & Associates.  Ron’s love for hunting led him to be an avid member of the Grand Prairie Gun Club and NRA.  He was also a Texas Hunter Education Instructor for 26 years and received many awards.  Ron also enjoyed fishing, gardening, and feeding the birds, as well as spending time with his dogs and granddaughters as much as he could.

Ron is survived by his wife, Joy and their dog Blaze of Arlington, TX; children, daughter Heidi Bobo and partner Tami of Fort Worth, TX and son Matthew Bobo and wife Jennifer of Burleson, TX; grandchildren, Emily and Georgia both of Burleson. He is also survived by Cousins David and Joy Watson of Abilene, TX, Douglas Davis of Snyder, TX, and Othell Davis of Montana.  He was blessed with many people in his life that he called family and was thankful for.
