Ron Savage

Ronald E. Savage, 67, of Weatherford died Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in Weatherford. Graveside service for Ron Savage, 67, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Johnson Cemetery, Erath County, with Don Savage officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Stephenville Funeral Home. Ron was born in Tampa, Florida to Luther and Manera Savage. He married Janice Womack on November 28, 1968 in Fort Worth, Texas. Ron was a real estate broker, living in Stephenville for nearly 30 years before moving to Weatherford four years ago. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. Ron is survived by his wife, Janice of Weatherford; son, Eric Savage and wife Tamri of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughters, Kristy Collins and husband Kenneth of Fort Worth, Dee Rodgers and husband Josh of Weatherford; seven grandsons, Colt, Cale, Cason, Caleb, Coen, Cage, and Silas; brother, Don Savage and wife Diane; sister, Gay Savage; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his grandson, Cash Collins.
